Did you guys make the cue sensitivity less sensitive?
If so please change it back. I cannot aim anymore precisely. It takes too long and I run out of time. I also have it on the most sensitive setting.

Welcome to the forum juntjoo, there's no point directing your question at Miniclip though, this forum has nothing to do with them and it would be a miracle if they read anything here, let alone responded.
In the old forum we knew we could have a moan and somebody from MC might at least read it, even if the somebody was one of the nobodies that called themselves admins over there.
This is a privately run forum and they won't even know when we complain, never mind what we complain about, so as far as I'm concerned Miniclip can go kiss my fat saggy behind LOL

I can't see anything in settings that will change cue sensitivity. Am I being thick or is it just not there?

Hi Little Ted I'm not sure how you're playing on pc or mobile (it may be same on pc) but I will describe how to do it on mobile.
On the main screen on the bottom left you should see a circular jagged wheel. That will take you to the settings screen. Scroll down to "Cue Sensitivity" You have 3 options: Slow, Normal or Fast. That's it.Comment

Hi@d4ve_tv I'm playing on PC and there's nothing about cue sensitivity under settings that I can see. Thanks anyway.

Have you considered buying a dedicated gaming mouse ?
You can manually change the DPI ( dots per inch ) settings on a gaming mouse and the higher the setting the more sensitive your cue will be.
It was originally designed for shooter games to make aiming your guns more accurate but the principle is the same when aiming your cue.
You can pick one up from around a fiver up to something like £70 ( or more ) and I find mine does the job quite adequately.
Obviously you get what you pay for, mine was around £20 and I don't expect it to last more than a year or two.
Mice ( mouses ? LOL ) are designed to last a few million clicks before they degrade but playing online pool means you will definitely hit
that mark far faster than if you just used it for general surfing etc.

That's another reason why I admire all you pc players. I've always complained that when I play I have a very difficult time trying to control the mouse and aiming! I don't know how you all do it with a mouse. Some have said they use the trackpad on a laptop which equates to using your finger on the phone. Well I've tried that too on my chromebook and no (at least to me) it's not the same as aiming on my phone. Guess it's like everything else... with practice it gets easier. Right Nanny Ogg and Sunidhifan ?

I have played both PC and mobile....and from what I have always heard from most players, people who started playing on PC find it easier to switch to mobile than people who started on mobile to switch to PC....lol...go figure....
But I still personally prefer the PC and a mouse to anything else....it feels natural to me...and is easier on my poor old mans hands than that tiny phone....lol.....

You're only as old as you feel Sunidhifan ! And if you're as "nimble"as you say with your mouse, you can't be feeling that old?!?

After the year I have had d4ve_tv , I feel terribly old....lol...
I first learned how to control a cursor with a track-ball...and have been using a mouse for 33 pus years now....I bought my first smart phone less than two years ago...so the mouse feels natural and comfortable, whereas the finger stuff on the phone is still odd feeling to me...but mostly it is the holding of the phone that makes my hands cramp up.....the mouse is one hand with some clicks and the phone involves both hands....and body English as well....lol....

I tried mobile a few years ago just the once, for only a couple of shots, on my grandsons' tablet. I think Jeff is right when he says that pc players find it easier to switch to mobile than the other way round, because I didn't miss a single shot and I didn't even feel as if I was trying very hard. The little one was well impressed that his nan could play pool better than his daddy LOL
I think that mobile pool has a more artificial feel to it when you play, almost mathematical even, all the little controls like having to preset the power on the power bar with a graphic to show you how much you are using seems too much like the game is holding the players hand and doing half the work for them.
On pc it seems to me to be more "organic", aiming and power is all done "on the fly" and you are more concerned with how the shot "feels" and if it feels right. Far more realistic than mobile in my opinion. You don't set the shot up in advance on pc, you're setting the shot up all the time right up until the actual moment you let go.

Some time ago in my blog, I wrote a small piece about watching the ferrule. It will tell you what you are doing right or wrong. So, I began to take my own advice and when I began to miss shots I watched where the cue was in relation to the ferrule. I began to notice that when I missed a few shots in a row my tip was pointing upward which means I dropped my shoulder followed by the elbow (not much...could be a smidgen) which caused me to hit the CB in an upward stroke. I am very conscious of it now and that is the first thing I check. To this day whenI'm aiming I will notice exactly where the cue tip is and many times I said to myself back off and reset because I noticed the tip was off somewhere.
I was thinking of posting the piece in the forum a few times but never got to it.

Uhhhhh... Uganda I'm not sure how to tell you this, but do you realize that we are discussing a digital pool game and not real live billiards?!?
