For cheaper options, consider seats in upper corners or end zones. During Bears games, the best seats are around the 30-50-yard lines, 20 rows up. For concerts, the best views are in Sections 120, 121, 122, and 123 which face the stage head-on.

It's mostly safe not much activity. Matter of fact I'm at soldier field right now it's 2 am. But especially after an event like a concert or a game there's workers coming out and it feels safer than normal.

How much is parking at Soldier Field? ›

Here's what you'll need to know: Parking will cost $35 for cars, cash or credit, and $160 for buses. Parking will be focused in the Waldron Parking Deck and North Garage. Parking can be purchased through Soldier Field's direct portal or by downloading the ParkMobile app and purchasing there.

The seats are small and no leg room. It's really uncomfortable. The 100 level seats are best, and maybe 200 club. Those are decent.

We were able to bring in a blanket (you'd do well to make it a Bears blanket)... snacks almost certainly will not be allowed.

You'll be ok as long as you stay near the Red Line. Take that south to Roosevelt, and then either walk or take the bus over to the lake. There are walkways/tunnels to get you under Lake Shore Drive. You walk by the Field Museum to the Soldier Field entrances.

Seats in the Sun and Shade at Evening Soldier Field Games

For shade, choose a seat on the west side of the stadium or the lower deck of the east side to avoid the sun. Otherwise, bring sunglasses because you might need them for the first part of the game!

No Dome. Soldier Field does not have a dome to block the field from Chicago's harsh winters. This makes the stadium arguably less appealing to play at. While some fans embrace the cold as "football weather," others are discouraged from attending games because of the brutal temperatures.

Soldier Field's primary focus is to provide all patrons and visitors a safe and enjoyable environment. All guests entering Soldier Field will be searched and have their belongings scanned.
